WOW, watching the A, AA and AAA Championship games on TV and there are alot of empty seats. They did not even have to let the seat out on the upper level. If it is suppose to be about bring fans and paying the bill the TSSAA don't know what they are doing. If this tournament was in Memphis and in a Gym that size it would have been jammed packed. Probably would have had to turn people away. Even with only one Memphis Team playing. If it is about paying the bills and crowds, TSSAA is missing out on a whole heck of alot of cash by having this tournament in Murfreesboro. I guess there were a lot of open cities with there cars, trucks and vans left home. WOW, incredible what a terrible crowd!!!!

Try West Tenn for a change...

Out west is too far especially with the gas prices...I think that Middle is the better place or better yet move the games over to APSU but the west is too far...where would it be played out west...Chattanooga is also a good location but its to far for the west teams to travel

I don't mind driving to the Boro personally. Gas prices keeps people at home no matter where it is. East Lit was from Nashville but they didn't bring a large crowd(decent). I would love to see it rotated myself....justtwocents

I agree as for keeping it in Murfreesboro.I wouldn't drive all the way to East Tenn. It's tough for some people to go to the boro.Just like other people,it's pretty expensive by the time you buy gas,pay the motel rooms ,food for 3 or 4 people every day, then pay 10.00 for each ticket and 12.00 for the championships..Plus 5.00 each day tp park.Getting to be pretty expensive for the West and East Tenn people.and people that live in Nashville, like you said East Literature, didn't even support their bigger school.

It was one of the least attended day of championships I've seen in my 20+ years of attending. With this economy, the only thing that will help it is if somebody local makes the finals. The place would have been packed had siegel won the night before in the semifinals.

I'm not sure when the current contract runs out, but I'm going to guess that when the next bids go out that Jackson (West TN) will put in a bid. They just lost the NAIA Women's National Tournament to Frankfort, KY. It had been in Jackson for the past 22 years. I'm sure the people in the Hub City would like to get their hands on that lost money somehow.

That said, it needs to stay at the Murphy Center in Murfreesboro. It is only fair for those in the East and the West to not have to drive a couple extra hours.
