Antwan
How are the Carter twins looking this year? Do they play both ways, or just offense? I thought the line looked pretty good Friday...that would include them. I don't think anyone starts both ways. A few do play on both. diamondlover
Expect Manning to have a monster game rushing. Don't think G-ville has an answer for him. SC can pass if necessary, but not sure they will have to do that very much this game. Don't think G-ville will get their 1st win against Maynord this year. Look for SC to run away with this one fast. SC- 48 G-ville -
originalSC3
Im a huge Gordonsville fan, however im one of the realist... Jalen is a special talent... HE has all the tools to play SEC ball... I wish he was in blue and white... hopefully if he keeps touching the ball only three or four times in the first half of games he will be lol... In all honesty... he should be getting 25-30 carries a game... Gville is solid pretty much everywhere ... jus not spectacular anywhere... Cason will have to have an extrodinary game to keep the Tigers in it IMO... If Manning carried the ball 30 times last Friday, the Owls would have scored way more points. He scored a TD every fourth play he touched the ball. No need to wear the boy down early in the season. If needed, he will get more carries. originalSC3
SC hasn't had the potential of the big play from the ground like they do this year in 23 years or so. If the O-line can get #25 or #8 past the linebackers you can chalk up 6 points. Its all about the O-line for the Owls. Yes sir.

Do Stephenson and Manning line up in the backfield at the same time much? If they do, that's a whole lot of options in the backfield if you include Scurlock. Guest Termite
How are the Carter twins looking this year? Do they play both ways, or just offense? Hey Seven, how's it going? The Carters are looking good. They just play offense. There's 4-5 that play some D, but I think Antwan is right, none start.
tedrow
Never been to Gordonsville. Is there a place to watch the game in a folding chair, or do you have to stand or sit in the visitors stands? If you want a seat you better get there early...like 5:30...there will be around 2000 people there.
I Love HS Football
Did you ever go into a game expecting to lose? I'm not expecting a win, per se, but I don't see the mercy rule happening either. ...as a player...No ...as a spectator...absolutely I may be wrong, but I do expect the mercy rule to come into play, and yes I realize that this game is different than others and that both teams, more times than not, play each other close. I Love HS Football
If needed, he will get more carries. That would be my guess too.

Both are very physical and good receivers out of the backfield.

Both are very physical and good receivers out of the backfield. From what I've seen and heard, The Williams kid is a beast. I, for one, believe in having a good fullback on the field at all times. Who is the other fullback you're referring to? Edited August 23, 2011 by croz6110
