If ever the Rebels are going to win 13AA this is the year..play em one at a time OC with Heart Discipline ..Could be the year of the Rebels..

I agree. This district is down...not as strong as it was 3 years ago... and year to year. With the Rebels as good as they have ever been in the history of the school, this team may accually make it to the second round of the playoffs this year. Good luck rebels.

Last season's loss in the playoffs should be huge motivation...

 

OC's line will have to keep the rush away from Phipps...The Tigers will bring the farm...They laid back in the regular season finale last year and got burnt over and over...They made the adjustment in the playoff game and it made a huge difference...

 

OC is better than they were last season and Ripley is not as good...Should be an equation for Rebel success...

I agree. This district is down...not as strong as it was 3 years ago... and year to year. With the Rebels as good as they have ever been in the history of the school, this team may accually make it to the second round of the playoffs this year. Good luck rebels.

Obion County has improved over the years. When Covington first began playing them, the football games were just to kill an little time until their band could do its amazing half-time show. The school at that time was excellent in band, and in football, not so much.

 

It will be interesting to see how the OC - Ripley match turns out. As a Covington fan I don't have a dog in that hunt, but will be interested to see the score. Tiny Knee has been a tough place to play in the distant past, but has been more friendly in recent years. I want to see how Coach Wheeler will do this year against Ripley.

 

Good luck to both teams.We will travel to both Ripley and Troy in October this year, so I will see you then.

This Dist. will continue to be owned by Milan and Westview. That's right, the two 3A schools

are at the top and will remain there for a long time. You don't have to like it, but you do

have to get used to it!!!
