tnreb
Thanks - it is really nice to have a few days notice in order to make travel plans. I'm pushing my luck - but is there a Saturday schedule available somewhere?
coachjohnson
I'm pushing my luck - but is there a Saturday schedule available somewhere? The games Friday will determine the schedule for Saturday. I think the #1's and #2's will advance to the gold pools. Should be some "super" volleyball being played. PHargis
Coach Johnson, we appreciate your help in getting thru this schedule. While you are on this site, if you will, we have seen with great interest the success you have had with Soddy this year and a number of fans have expressed it. What is different this year than last? I believe you have about the same players. And how will last years visit to State help you this year to reach a better goal? We would appreciate your thoughts. vbinsider44
after watching Soddy and South I'm going out on a limb and saying they will be in Choo Choo Finals.
PHargis
after watching Soddy and South I'm going out on a limb and saying they will be in Choo Choo Finals. You might be right but i was hoping Coach johnson might share with us her thoughts. For those who don't know Coach Johnson is the head Coach of Soddy Daily's undefeated Volleyball team and was in the State last year.
PHargis
She left and i hope she might come back and have a short dialogue. Coach Johnson is one of the very good Coaches in the Chattanooga area. To say the least she is fun to watch coach. She is emotional and obviously wants her teams to win. Going to the state the first time is an experience and I wanted to get her thoughts how that visit last year will help her this year. Hope she will return and share her thoughts but if not, we understand.

I was a student manager on the girls volleyball team in the late 80's and our coach was named Johnson too. I know it's a common name but thought it might be possible since how many Johnson's can there be also coaching in East Tennessee!

My wife, "the coach" would shoot me if she knew I was saying anything about her team, however, I'm not very scared. I know we have a lot of girls playing club volleyball and that sure helps. We are so blessed to have, not only hard working girls, but girls that come from well disciplined homes. Coach Lorri knows that "winning breds winning." I'll add a little "fuel to the fire" by telling everyone that Lorri is from Anderson County. And no, there is nothing in the water there to make you a better player. Hard work, desire, and a lot of discipline is a good start. After Coach Lorri reads this, I'll try to get her to answer your questions. PHargis
We appreciate your post and the explanation and your duty as asst mr Coach if even that. many coaches on this site strive to get to State and my questions were probing information about her team which we know is undefeated and has been recognized on here as very good, and has she noticed this year their goals are different and along with that maybe anyone on the Soddy team that has stood out this year from a leadership point of view.
