i agree with you bud. Oneida may be a 1A school, but you could tell that just from the number of fans there and the facilities that they take their football very serious there. Oneida was great team and i expect them to make a good run in the playoffs. and for the buffs against cherokee, well..we couldnt have covered a rock if it was playin receiver that game, cherokee should also make a good run in the playoffs with the stud they got at QB. Coach Case knew what he was doin by takin teams off the schedule that arent goin to help us when it comes play off time. This may be their first 0-2 start since the 2007-08 season, but like bud said, were not playin hancock co and cloudland anymore. i say the buffs get back on track this week and win by 2 or 3 TD's.

 

We will see what Cherokee really has when they play Morristown West this week.

I haven't saw Grainger this year. We usually scrimmage them in the early fall & generally they have some physical athletes. I will say from what I have seen in the past & what I saw from WG I'd say you'll be the majority favorite but don't think the Grizzlies will just lay down. They'll play hard, just don't think they'll pull this one out. Classy program, if it is at Grainger then you'll have first rate hosts & see a fine group of coaches & young men I'd be willing to bet. All I have heard all off-season was how great WG was and how bad they would beat everyone this season (including GHS)...so I'm curious, what the heck has happened to the mighty buffs? Did getting the "big head" come back to bite them in the backside? Confidence is one thing, but the results thus far are a direct consequence of being too cocky-without having a reason to be.

Grainger county has very nice facilities, and are a great host. i can see them comin out hard this week for how WG celebrated last year on the field after the game. ive heard grainger has a stud at DE this year, but who knows. Grainger has always put up a tough fight but has ran outta gas late in the game. I expect this to be one good game. I cant wait for friday to roll around

West Greene just was excited about the close win, and they celebrated with all our fans on the sideline. They sang "the rooster song" which is a tradition after every win since Coach Case has been there. Im sure it pissed em off real good.

The Grizzles are much improved this season and I'll take them to win 28-21.

If Grainger's defense holds West Greene's offense to 21 points I'll be impressed. I'm taking West Greene, 32-13.
