Eagleville is 4&0 and a team is built around defense. Their defense is their offense and if they can get the offense to be more productive, it might carry them along way this season. If their offense improves and the defense stays stingy and focused, this just might be their year to win District 9A.

Of course they are a team to watch. They have Coach Leeman on their staff!

It is Leaman, and he isn't on the high school staff. If they do get put in the same quardrant as SP, so what they will just have to play the game. If SP thinks they are such a great program, step on over into Georgia,Florida and play single A in those states and see how you fair. I think you might have more" Gold Balls"

Eagleville may be 4&0 but have they played anyone notable yet??

Eagleville is building a memorable season. However, no need to spit vile. For the record, SP has been known to play schools in other states, just not so much recently. The 1999 State 1a Pirates beat the 1a Alabama state champs. :thumb: TC also beat Hazzlewood that year who were the Alabama 2a title game and we be T.C. in the semi-finals that year. We used to play Bridgeport and Stevenson every year and both were part of the old Sequatchie Valley Conference until they were merged to create North Jackson High School. Single A schools wouldn't be a problem on the average, schools like Valdosta and Lowndes County would be another matter. Smack between Eagleville and SP is a long way off. Both have to make it there for it to even happen.
