Croz, you have seen both teams play. Can you break down play of lines, backs, special teams, ect. and tell us who you think has the edge in these areas?

TC, from what I've seen has the edge in every area.

Swindoll, at 100%, evens things up a little.

I wasn't impressed with Reeves for FC when they played us, but he's looked good against TC before.

FC has the edge at receiver, but someone has to get Patterson the ball.

Defensively is all TC.

If FC's offense has come around, I think the matchup of the night is FC's O against TC's D.

Now, TC starts a freshman at Center and a freshman at LB, but they're not weak at those spots, so I don't think they can be exploited.

From what I've seen, I think TC wins by at least two TD's, could be more.

I was hoping you could attend this game. I heard through the grape-vine that the rescue service was preparing to drag The Ditch for a unknown male from Signal Mtn. :roflol:

I go down and look when I get there. I'll be wearing a t-shirt that reads "I'm not with the Chicken".

Uh ... That will be HamJam40.

If he"s still breathin', I would recommend keepin' yer distance and leavin' him be. He'll eventually come around on his own and find his way home.:roflolk:

Us Eagles really enjoyed hostin' them SweaterVests at the Eagles' Roost last year. Some real nice folks: they fit in real good with a certain portion of the Signal Mountain crowd.pishposh-2.gif

We almost let you fellers sneak up our rearside at the end of that game, but it wuz really fun flippin' you around and really givin' it to you the last couple of minutes.smiley-sex006.gif

It wuz equally fun whoopin' them HartVillians, but much more satisfyin' from an emotional standpoint.

I could go both ways with you hosers, but I'm more partial to low-rents.

This uns fer you, O3P.

I'd say the rednecks and brothers is gonna kick some private arse in this one. Sorry I'll miss it. Guess I just have to watch it online and try to imagine being there.:thumb:

Everyone at FCS is healthy this week. I expect to see a revamped secondary, which has been their achilles heel in their two losses.

Mitchell has been deadly when he gets to punt and can be the difference in a low scoring game.

Last year's score 10-6.IF the Yellow Jackets can not open up the run by passing, the Commanders will pull off an upset on the creekbank.

FCS 17

TCS 13

That's good to hear about your punter. We try not to use ours too much. Think he will kick to either Harper? I don't think we are 100% healthy with a couple of starters banged up, but we can throw it around if need be...

H. Murphree

7 touchdowns

I saw you all play Gordonsville and they were clearly the better team that night. The night we played them, we were clearly the better team. What have you done in the past few weeks that is going to make up that ground? New scheme? Not surprising. I bet you all will try to put Swindoll under center more and run the option this year. Just a hunch.

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
