College field goal post. Its amazing that our kicker could kick it through the bars but yours couldnt. Its also amazing that he had two chances. Trust me i was there and he missed the kick by way more than 2 feet. WAY WIDE. I personally love the UTM field. Who else can say they play on a Division 1 stadium with turf on friday nights. The crowd is the only thing that doesnt give it the sense of tradition. If somebody wants tradition then start it. Westview will pull it out. Quan Williams, Abraham Haddad, Wyatt Zarecor, Demanti Taylor, Collins Alexander,R.J. Scott, Drew Stigall,Merritt Spence, Quentin Walker and Colton Nanney and the rest of the team will be there ready to play with the feeling after the victory last year. Westview will win it. KSA.

The only thing Westview's gonna "pull out" tonight is another tissue from the box after the donkey

stomping from the Bulldogs!!!!!

There is no tradition at UTM for Martin because they don't win on a regular basis, and there is zero

home field advantage. Nobody says "holy crap we gotta beat Westview at Westview." Milan's last home

loss.....2007 come to Johnnie Hale if you want to see real TRADITION!!!!!!!

Following high school football for years I love the game between Milan and Westview. Bc the fans appreciate the accomplished programs and the tradition. Not slot of trash talk just respect for coaches, players, and the communities. Very humble programs and wish both teams an injury free game! For Westview have a shot their going have play mistake free and control the clock and not allow the big plays and if they do that they have good chance, but that's a tall order

Quote.."Who else can say they play on a Division 1 stadium with turf."

Remember Milan has played for several State Championships on other College Campuses how many has Martin?? I wished they would hold them at UTM it wouldn't be so far for MILAN fans to drive. That would be a great tradition for UTM to start then they would make even more money from High School Football.

Westview would get to go to STATE then.. :roflol:

Ugh Milan looked like crap tonight! Glad they managed to pull it out at the end! Thanks to our defense....cause offense looked like a chicken with their heads cut off! And I don't know what the Martin fans are cryin about, but if it wasn't for #36....it would have been a TOTALLY different ballgame! That kid ran and got several first downs keeping Westview in the game! Good job qb!

Time to get ready for Huntingdon next Friday! Hope the dawgs look better next week....or we may be in TROUBLE! LoL

Milan's kicker wasn't "way wide" tonight....he was kicking through HS goal posts..nailed it from 43 to put the game away......radio announcers said it would've been good from 53...what goes around comes around was spot on tonight...

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
