I don't think the vacating rule is good. If there's a game someone wins and someone loses. It should be a forfeit. Riverside had to forfeit several basketball wins in 1995 due to an ineligable player.

Wouldn't be so bad had they lost the games. Would they have had to vacate the losses?

So you are really only punished if you win...right? That makes about as much sense as the TSSAA usually does...

The Florence Times Daily states that other teams get to count their losses and that PC vacates their wins.

These Perry County people are full of mess. That Childress man is going to make them be 2-3, not 2-0. I talked to my buddy Murphy and he said the next school that Childress man catches playing illegal players, he is going to shut their whole season down. Their season will be over right then. If that Ronnie Carter man was still in the TSAA, he would have done that to Perry County. You think im joking but im not.

'That Childress man' has informed Perry County School Systems that the wins are in fact vacated.

The TSSAA is a joke. How weak of a penalty can you get. The coach even knew those kids weren't living there. They should get 3 losses on their record and be on probation for 3 years for it. Too many schools are doing it besides Perry Co. I won't mention any names but I know of 2 schools in the west tn area that do it every year. Schools are laughing at that punishment and saying if that is all TSSAA is going to do then we either need to start doing it or keep doing it. How pitiful. The TSSAA has no idea what is going on at these schools and as much money as they suck away from these high schools you would think they could do a better job of policing. Get a backbone TSSAA.
