Bledsoe is not 9-1 they are 7-1 with two tougher opponets than Grundy, still to play. Anything can happen and I bet they will say the same thing.

They have Sweetwater and CCS combined 6 wins and Bledsoe is looking like they could make a run, personally I want them to go west so Sequatchie gets a rematch like last year

I may be wrong but I know that last year if you had the same divisional record at the end of the year they would go to your overall record for who gets in the playoffs. So if they have not changed it since last year CAK would end the season 8-2 with only one loss in there division and if Austin-East were to finish with only one loss in their division they would be 7-3 which if I'm not mistaken would mean that CAK would have the better record and therefore get the better seed over Austin-East.

Last year they did playoff seedings by tie breaker rules. This year teams that finished first and second in their district get priority over the wildcard teams. Thus, in the scenario that I spoke of before where Austin-East wins the district and CAK comes in second in their district, Austin-East would get the higher seed.

What are the district tie breaker rules if teams tie for 1st or 2nd? Do head to head games count toward the tie breaker or is it overall wins or something else?

Yes, 1st places teams are seeded first, followed by 2nd, then wildcard. Only difference is two district teams can play each other, 09 they couldnt

The explanation above the playoff rankings conflict.

Playoff Standings Updated Each Tuesday

Teams are listed by playoff criteria. The top 24 teams in 1A and 2A and top 32 teams in 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A on this list will be in the playoffs unless a school is not listed in the top 24 (1A,2A) or top 32 (3A,4A,5A,6A) finishes 1st or 2nd in their district. If this happens, a team or teams finishing 1st or 2nd in the district will replace the lowest ranked schools(s) on the list.
