crawdad
I still have Boone making the field of 32 as the last in even if they go 4-6. That would mean a playoff game vs Mo-West a very familiar IMAC foe. Just thought I should point it out so the Blazers know they don't have to go all out this Friday. The 5A vs 6A stats in this thread point out the challenge to post winning records for teams in the lower classification. There may not be 32 teams with .500 or better records in 5A this year. There weren't last year either. So it's not unprecedented.
Pudding
If I can get out of the factory in time Friday, this is the game I wanna see. I imagine there will be no seating by the time I get there though. Who wants to save me a seat?
tosssweep
a 4-6 team needs to be at home,a team needs to be at least 5-5 for playoffs. I disagree. I understand your thoughts but this is High School football and the last time many of these kids will ever get to play football again. Who knows maybe they were a young team and lost some early games they should have won or played up in classification to fill out their schedule. Whatever the reason one of the best things about sports is rooting for the underdog and pulling upsets. The chances are very slim that a 4-6 team could do any of that but why take that excitment away from a kid. I would guess if you looked across the state there is some pretty good 4-6 teams out there that could do some damage around here.

Don't know if another team with that type of record made it further

RebelConvert
Stew Peed's Question of the Day If South loses to Boone, is there a possiblilty no 5A school representing the Big 8 will have a home game in the playoffs? Stew Peed's question of the day brought to you today by RebelConvert. P.S. Thanks! I just can't wrap my head around it. Guess I should just hush, quit tryin, and wait til the TSSAA tells me how it is.
