I'm pretty sure SH will sell out to stop our run, that is their soft spot.I'm pretty sure we will bring everything to reach their qb before they kill us with the pass. Most fans see this much .I think DB will have to pass as well as run in this one. That makes it the perfect game for the Tribe going into the playoffs,as well as the perfect game for the Hill.I can't wait for this one.

SH defense looks like they have no plan they just rely on speed to help them win. Looking back on Greenville and Mo West, when the talent is matched up or better SH struggles on Defense. DB will beat them by 3 TD's if SC and Nelson don't get the defense fixed and in a hurry. If THS can block the blitz they may give SH a game.

Do you guys think this will be a close game? I saw the Toppers early in the Season and they were not impressive in week 1 against Betsy, but they have run off a good bunch of wins with some high scores since then.

The Indians have not had to play much past the 1st qtr. since the Sevier County game. In my opinion, the Smokey Bears are a great team and will be very dangerous in the playoffs. Their QB and WR's are awesome.

Dobyns-Bennett is totally healthy... how about the Toppers?

The only thing about the Indians that worries me is receiving punts... just get away and don't risk it.

It will be a packed house, an all-time record attendance for the Toppers new Stadium and it may be a long long time before the crowd is this big again for a game in JC.

SH has improved as the season has gone along. They're a much better team than they were in week 1 IMO. They really need to clean up their penalties though. They're a very talented group but they make a lot of foolish penalties. All those penalties haven't hurt them yet but against a great team like DB they will come back to haunt them. As far as I know the Toppers are healthy. Expecting a huge crowd for this one at Kermit Tipton. The Toppers want this one bad.

With Farragut getting beat, will Science Hill now be playing Dobyns-Bennett for a chance to host the first round? I know DB will be at home anyway

SH and DB are playing for the District championship since both are undefeated in the Big 8, which means a 1 or 2 seed in quad one. Most likely the winner gets a 2 since Maryville will be 1. Win or lose DB will host at least one game and I think the same could go for SH after how tonight's games went, but it's def not a guarantee. Even with a loss I think they could get a 4 seed (lowest hosting seed) at 7-3 but its a lot iffier than being 8-2 and district champs. I'd just like to see Maryville in quad 2 so that DB or SH wouldn't have to meet them until the quarterfinals. If this seems incorrect have at straightening me out. Or just check the t$$aa website.

That makes sense to me.I thought the overall record would kick in and Sevier County would be the 3 seed in the quad and DB the 2 seed nomatter the outcome of next week.SH with a 7-3 record would be tied with Farragut if Farragut wins next week, and I was thinking Farragut would then be the 4 seed with strength of schedule and SH the 5 Seed.A win by SH would put them at 8-2 and the 4 Seed.Like I say, what you said about the district champs makes sense, but we will all know either way in about a week.

    • With Westview only losing one senior and returning Sims, they have to be one of the favorites in AA
    • Watched Westview at McKenzie Thursday and they surprised me. Without Evans (who was sick) and Brent (who had thumb surgery shortly after getting back from her ankle injury), they looked solid. I didn’t realize Gray from SF had transferred in. You have Sims, Gray, Brent, Trevathan, and Evans and that’s a solid 5. Then, you bring in Hayden and Rogers off the bench along with some other upcoming and they will be tough again this year!
    • Hmmmmmm doe dee doe doe……sounds like they are leaving Geenback faster than the lawnmower will go in fifth gear.  Hmmmm….. you can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • West looked solid...excited to see this young group excel
    • When you have a school that right at 200 kids only half are going to be male and to get 25% of them to come out for football is a very hard task. Take away an 8th grade syatem and your you have another hill to climb up. If 5 kids are actually leaving your not going to have enough for practice. Your only chances for wins would be against the weakest of weak teams. At one time Greenback had kids coming across the wall like the Mexican Border and now their leaving town before sundown. A hugh mistake was made on not hiring Ryan back because of his ties to the community and his ability to bring in the right kids, not run them off. The last coach failed because he wasn't one of community so they go out and do it again. I'm sure Coach Clemmer is a good person because I do know people that do like him but he is caught in the middle of a fan base that will not support him no matter what and it could lead to a disaster if that many kids are leaving the program. The person that caused all of this mess has no business on the school board and needs to stick with hiding in the bushes giving out speeding tickets to out of towners coming through.
