district play. They are beating some high ranked KY teams.

I think there are 3 seniors on squad, only one is consistent starter.

CPA already owns a victory against East Literature this season

I for one would love to hear more about East Lit. I thought that they were really quick and hard to defend. Their weakness seems to be the inside game, but when they are hot from the three point line, they are really good.

Let's talk about the district as a whole. Here is a look at how things currently stand:

 

1.) CPA: 15-2 (5-0)

2.) East Literature: 11-4 (4-1)

3.) Maplewood: 10-5 (4-2)

4.) David Lipscomb: 7-4 (3-2)

5.) Whites Creek: 4-9 (2-3)

6.) Pearl-Cohn: 4-9 (2-4)

7.) MLK: 3-5 (2-4)

8.) Stratford: 3-7 (1-4)

9.) Hume-Fogg: 2-9 (1-4)

 

CPA may be the best Class AA team in the entire state. They are loaded with talent and have the coaching to win it all. Both East Literature and Maplewood are currently riding 7-GAME winning streaks and have caught fire at the right time (entering the district run). David Lipscomb is a good basketball team. The Mustangs lone "head scratcher" to me this year is their loss to Whites Creek. Outside of that performance they've proven that they are capable of being a contender. Teams 5-9 in the district all seem to be fairly equal and have the ability to beat up on one another on any given night.

Stratford vs Pearl-Cohn

MLK vs Nashville Christian: this is a non-district game

CPA wins at Lipscomb, 58-17. 28-10 at half, CPA outscores DL 24-0 (I think) in 3rd quarter. All bench players in 4th for CPA.

Very surprising margin and ease of victory for CPA.

Right now the district leader looks to be CPA but both East Literature and Maplewood appear to be strong contenders. I have researched the district standings and schedule and here is the way it looks as things more forward.
