Dont know anything about Gibbs but looking forward to the game. Hope yalls fans travel well. Makes for a great atmosphere. Be sure to get you a rib eye sandwich while you are the stadium. They are good :hungry:

GO HOG-EYE!!

Just like you Big not to familiar with Gibbs. Have done a little research on them. This will be their 6th straight play-off experience. Usually one and done but one year they got beat in the 3rd rd.

They have some impressive wins this year with the best being last week ....beat Austin East 14 to 7. Lost to Fulton 7 to 13. So it seems that they are a very capable team. I hope our kids don't over-look Gibbs because they seem to be a pretty good team.

The winner will travel to Fulton next week. I think they will win there first game against Stone. Then the winner will more than likely catch Greenville College lol. So it's a hard way to go but anything is possible. Rem 05 team they won all their games on the road.

oldchs..We only play who is scheduled! LA plays up in classification out of district as SC does, other than yall take Gville. But we all know thats no pushover. Yes..lets show em! :thumb:

Chair..I have heard they like to run alot, option style but the qb I hear doesnt like to pitch it. We'll see. Also heard they dont like to throw it either. No doubt they are pretty good if they beat A-E. But i think we can and sould win.

As a sidenote...I heard Kenny Chesney is singing the National Anthem. :motorbike:

I wouldn't get that rumor started, that rumor got started last year in the 3rd round vs. Greeneville. The Band Perry was supposed to sing the National Anthem and then Kenny Chesney was due up at halftime. Neither one showed up!

    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
