Yes, it's because of the higher seed. District champions vs district runner ups have no barring on the great way the TSSAA aligns their brackets. It is such an awesome setup.

I thought Coach Dillard started in 2000,after coach Wills left.He was my coach during my hs years of 2000-2003.

I graduated in 2000 at Gville and Wills was still the coach in 2000. Not exactly sure what year Dillard started but know Wills was coach in 2000.

Depth may or may not be an issue. Alot of our guys play both way and hardly come off the field, but they are in great shape. We have 8-10 seniors but 20 something juniors, and most all play a role in some form or fashion.

I also see you're already giving a built-in excuse if you get blown out.

I'll be honest, I think Gville is more than capable of winning by 3 td's, could be less and could be more.

But I predict 27-7 Gville.

 

 

You call discussing depth an excuse clause, no if we get blown out it's because we made to many mistakes, if it's a close game then yeah depth could be a factor, just trying to discuss something besides the same ole "we're gonna blow you out, no your not stuff."

The Ambassador isn't playing anything up. I am calling it like I see it. I told you last week you would mercy rule Nashville Christian. Now, I am calling it again. I have seen Gordonsville in person this season. They are the best team in the east this season. That is just the facts. Are they unbeatable? NO, but they are a VERY good football team.

He picked Eagleville to get beat by Cascade, Forrest, Columbia Academy and I believed he picked Huntland in a upset so we at Eagleville love it when he picks us to lose since he is such an expert in H.S.Football. We rate him up there with Murphy Fair. Should be a close ball game, way too much ball control and good coaching to lose by a big number. I just call them as i see them

I was referring to the fact that you said if we win by much that it would be because ya'll GAVE us turnovers.

unapproved website shows Dilliard coached them in 08 and Marshall started in 09 which would make this his third season. Can anyone confirm that?

Dillard's last football season was in 2007.

Marshall started in the 2008 season. So 2008, 2009, 2010, and now 2011. This is his 4th year.
