Sounds like a plan to me. Planning on coming up Thursday night so should be able to be there early. Man I didnt realize G'ville was that close to Cookeville you'll almost made this trip last week

Haha "DUDE" you dont no what your talking about.. SP has had many defenses in the past much better than that one. The teams I played on in late 90's would have put 60 on you and Sam Pickett and Eddie Moore would still be running touchdowns on your big and bad Union City 2009 team. Thats funny! I hope your enjoying basketball season. Maybe Union City makes it back to Cookeville eventually. Until then keep talking about your 2009 team

We had only 4 seniors. 2 of which started...they other two played some. Only one was a really decent player. All of our skilled players are back next year. We started 5 freshmen this year and the reason was because we had some quit...and major injuries. Our numbers are low. This years senior class and next year senior classes are very small. After that, we will be back to normal we hope. We should make it to the 3rd round at least next year...4th or finals...but depends on injuries. Thanks and the best of luck to your team.

The 1985, 1986, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2007, and 2008 defenses would have all stopped that Union City team much better than that young defense we had in 2009 did. I started counting up and we had a lot of sophomores playing that day in 2009. 1 defensive linemen, 3 linebackers and at least 1 defensive back. We were very young on defense in 2009 and it showed. Anyway let's get back to this game and not get in a pissing contest about stuff in the past.

Pirates indeed but this team when playing together is a Steel Armed Black Freight Train that runs over, through and around all competition....Afterall in 1A there is No Competition!!! ;)

I for one understand that we are playing an undefeated 13-0 football team. I will be happy with a 1 point win. It's not an accident that they are 13-0. Now, I do think that South Pittsburg's regular season schedule has been the most daunting I have ever seen. They also have had many major injuries for most of the season. They have managed to improve as the season has moved along and now have put themselves in a position to defend their title. What more can you ask for?

I thought you said you were just going to not bet the farm on South Pitt again because it just sets them up for failure? Wayne County has a good football team. I looked back at their history and they are a perennial playoff team that has had a little bad luck getting to the finals. They look tough and disciplined. South Pitt will need to be at their best in this one.
