Summertown beat Moore County by 17 points already once this year and Moore Co. is #1 and Summertown is #2? Also Moore County struggled with a very bad Monterey team.

Overall moore county has played more quality opponents. Summertown played lights out against Moore county and Moore county played their worst game of the year against Summertown. You were probably there to see how one-sided the officiating was as well.

Overall more quality opponents? Looking at Moore County's schedule they have played 5 teams with a winning record. Out of those 5 teams only 2 are good teams which is Summertown and Oakland. The other 3 have winning records only because the teams they have played aren't very good. Lincold County is an example of that, they only have 3 losses and all by an average of 20+ points, LA even beat them 66-18. Again the only 2 teams Moore County has played come against Oakland and Summertown in which both were losses. Summertown has 2 losses which came against last years runner up in AAA but other than that has cruised through their schedule, that is including Moore County too.

If you want to go by who's played more quality opponents then Jackson County or Clarkrange will be #1 and #2 because I garauntee not many teams play a schedule as tough as they do.

JC came back after two losses to aa teams and defeated Loretta and Maryville two very good teams and looked like their old selves of course Upperman and Grundy co are very good aa teams. If you play tough teams night in and night out some of them will beat you but it makes you better for long hall.

May want to hold this quote until mid-February and re-visit your thoughts - they usually find a way.......

As of right now Bradford does not deserve to be in anybodys Top Ten in the state is all that I am saying. Bradford has always been a powerhouse and alot of east & middle Tenn people recognize the name Bradford. But this is not your typical Bradford team and Coach Eddings has his work cut out if they are going to make it to state. I would call them the #4 team in district 14 right now.

    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
