Red Rebels
From the Maryville Times 1926 article: "High school opens Monday, Sept. 6th, with brightest prospects for a banner year." This was back in the days when school started after Labor Day.

Before moving to the country, I was a city boy going to Rushstrong. Red Rebels
How many current or former Blount County Schools are now within the city limits of Alcoa or Maryville. I can think of these: 1. Everett High School - Maryville 2. Union Elementary School - Maryville 3. Bungalow - Alcoa Close but not in: 4. Fairview Elementary 5. The school on Brown School Road where the gymnastics are located.

Red Rebels
I always thought Blount County Schools should move the alternative school and make Everett a Magnet school and play 1A Football...
