Do you people really think that Livingston has made it to the 'Boro playing that way all year long? They played one of the worst games they had all year long and beat one of the states top 8 by 10+. S

CPA vs. Stone Memorial. I'm picking SM in an upset because of their defense.

 

Watched every AA game today. Stone plays really good defense but how do they guard Obion? Man? Zone? Junk? Interesting.

 

CPA/LA may be the game of the tournament with the winner winning it. Coach Riddle has been in this situation before. I'm not going to count her defense out, either. But, what do I know? :blink:

Stone has very little to no shot against OC they are way to strong. Would like to see them win but its not likely. :popcorneater:

Stone had no chance against a much "stronger" Fulton team either. That's why we play the games, instead of settling them here. Stone IS still here; there are 100+ AA teams that wish they had "no chance" on Friday. Thanks for the locker room material.

True statement but what i say won't help you with the locker room i have no ties to Obion County.

I to watched every game today...CPA is the real deal, those girls can play... I was far from impressed with livingston...they looked very slow and sloppy.... Congrats to stone memorial but they will have a tough time with occhs...look for CPA and Obion to meet up in the big game on Saturday

Im thankful that impressing you had no bearing on todays ugly win. It was an ugly win for sure. But I will take an ugly win anyday over a pretty loss. See you Friday!:thumb:

LA dosent play many games sloppy like that if they did they wouldnt be where they are now. Upperman or cannon would be. Look for a lot better game on Friday.That was just warm ups coach will have them fireing on all cylinders by game time.

I see CPA making it to the finals. Didn't get to see the last AA game played, but CPA definitely left an impression. Going to put it out there that Stone Memorial's defense left an impression as well. Definitely their strongest asset.

Stone could be the sleeper who comes out to win it all. You never know at this point how someones gonna play and whos gonna win. Look at LA and the football championship in 05.

      Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.

      It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface.
