Great job, Lady Toppers! Way to silence all those people who said you were going to lose, and lose BIG, to Clarksville. You've earned your right to be in the Championship game again this year. Here's to hoping you girls win it all tomorrow. Heard Shy got injured. Hopefully she's OK.

great job girls, keep it up....so hope that Shy is ok and it is nothing serious.....hilltoppers you have two dedicated fans here in middle tennessee.....one game at a time....great job to both coach barnwell and his staff.....he is an even better man than a coach and that says alot....we will see you all at the game tomorrow...bring the gold ball home and make all of east tennessee proud!!!!!!!!!!

I was one of those expecting Clarksville to win big - must say congratulations on a well played game and a much deserved win.

Lawrence Co shot terrible today (10 of 38 starting 4th quarter) plus the shot before half was way late even the S Hill fans sitting behind us said so and LC still should had a chance to win at the buzzer, When you dont play any competition all season it shows at tournament time...Clarksville will beat S Hill by 20 PLUS

 

How's that crow tasting? SH has NO seniors on its team. These girls will take the state title next year....bank it.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
