Congrats to the Lady Lions of CPA. This is a team that never gives up. The two seniors off the

bench, E Boyd and S Elefante, were major contributors and so happy all the seniors go out with a

Gold Ball. Very proud of you all.

OC is a very good team and will be next year also. Congrats on your great season.

Story of the game has to be the play of CPA senior Sami Elephante. She probably averaged under 3-4 points per game this season, but came in off the bench to hit 4 three pointers (14 points and 5 rebounds). She is quoted in the Tennessean as saying. "My team needed me". I love that.

Story of the game was Obion County was 12 for 27 at the charity stripe. That will get you every game. Also, CPA shot twice as many shots...some are bound to go in.

One other thing...Obion didn't take it to CPA enough in the 3rd quarter to get them in even MORE foul trouble. CPA played 3 quarters in foul trouble when O C was in good shape most of the game.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
