MJ 6-4 over Farragut

Arlington 7-3 over Riverdale

Franklin 4-3 over Bearden

Germantown 3-1 over Walker Valley

Riverdale may depend on who's on the mound. Don't think JK will give anyone 7 runs and they are DEEP in hitting and with power. The top bracket is ridiculous anyway. It's almost as bad as football, most of the top teams are from the middle to east. To have MJ, Farragut and Riverdale and Arlington in the same bracket.

He can still hit though and the kid is a stud at the plate. Mt. Juliet is solid 1-9 and should be tough beat, but probably could be beaten if their opponent has a dominant arm on the mound. Anyone know anything about Walker Valley? I had not heard of them until this week, but they are obviously pretty good if they made it this far.

That'st a tough one, the top bracket is so over loaded, I would say Farragut or MJ will come out of the top bracket..... But you never know. Once these teams get into the losers bracket, and have to start eating up pitching, it could get interesting.

I figure Arlington throws Bramlett against Riverdale.

Update me, work has thrown a curve... again. Get 'em!

    • You wanna talk about zoned for Bearden.  Lol.  I don't think so.  But my point was who can blame a kid for not wanting to be in a private school.  Nobody is zoned for a private school, it's a free country right?
    • Great win for the Pirates. State Tourney bound !
    • You're talking about the running back, right? I don’t believe he was zoned for west, but there were numerous players that came from TKA a few years ago and still are. I’m sure some are, but the majority aren’t.
    • Gratitude abounds for Blake Satterfield, whose five-year tenure as the head coach and exemplary ambassador for Trousdale County and its educational system has left an indelible mark. His strategic leadership during playoff seasons was nothing short of remarkable. Anticipating that his future endeavors will be equally impressive.  Perhaps the board members will refrain from undermining the incoming coach as they did in Blake's case.
    • Yeah that's true, I was talking more about football.  If you go to a TKA game, there's nobody there.  The only people there are the parents of cheer and parents of players.    The kid that left and came to West was zoned for West and decided to quit private and go public school.  He won two state championships at West, so hard to blame him there.
