Have no idea how the statue was disrespected or of their bad behavior, what did they do? Pretty much was there the entire time they were around base of statue and just outside the endzone waiting for the game to get started. Didn't see anything bad or disrepectful.

 

Tell me more about the big ruckous when fans dressed in looked like Huntington blue got into fight and pushed down the hill beside stadium, then escorted out by cops to ambulance.

Huntington little kids were climbing all over and top of the statue after jamboree over. Maybe the boys were sitting at base of the statue got under your skin. Nit picky. Get over it. Dont want anybody near it, put a fence around it or post a sign.

Preach on Atlas. Look kermitt when you have a real issue please bring it back. Until then get over yourself. I think everyone else feels the same way. The way you first put I thought something embarassing had actually happened.

I got a picture if you want me to post it I will but I rather not I just think they should have sit on the grass like the other teams were. Wow no respect I just dont think they should have set by the statue there was plenty of grass for them to sit on the other teams didnt have a problem with that. I guess you'll defend them to the end. It isn't that big a deal I just think they should appologize. Guess people in Union City will just rest wherever. The kids after the game when I was a kid & I did something like that my bottom would be red, guess people just dont know how to respecy property at all these days.

 

Also we dont mind people being around it but it made a few people mad that they were sitting on the base of it during the football game. I am surprised people are ok with it but our morals have went downhill I dont hold that much a grudge. Good luck this season & I'll be nice enough to appologize for hurting your feelings BigSwo & Atlas. Just my opinion. I dont think the mustang footballs players will sit on any statues in Union City during Week 3 if you got any.

An apology done in sarcasim isnt worth the time it took to type it. Just before you give your version of an apology you somehow tied sitting on some statue to having morals that are not up too par. As far as defending them to the end I assure that if they had actually done something that was actually disrespectful Coach Bowling and Coach Kennedy(principal) would have dealt with it quick fast and in a hurry. So keep your apolgy that you didnt mean anyway and try to find something worth while to do with your time rather than picking the slightest things from a group of highschool football players to find fault in. Now Im sorry if thats not what you were hoping for.
