Lake County limps into South Fulton for a big game tonight. Flu and injuries giving the Lady Falcons fits. A win would seal 2nd place for LC. They will have to dig deep to upset SF on their homecourt.

LC loses by 1. Refs let them beat each others brains out all game and then decide to blow the whistle on the last play to send SF to the line for the win. Good effort from a LC team at half strength on the road. Led the entire game for the most part.

It looks like the Greenfield girls are gonna have to limp thru the end of the season...we've got 4 starters out with injury, and another girl, who played some, hasnt suited up since before Christmas due to bronchitis and cant get over it....

 

UC will probably beat us by 20 points this Friday night....

The loss to South Fulton was huge.South Fulton and Lake Co are tied for 2nd in the loss column.Lake Co has Bradford and Union city.South Fulton has Halls,Trenton and Union City.So even if both lose to UC,going to still be tied.That makes the Halls-SF game and LC-Bradford must wins for both teams.A tie and probably a coing toss.Feel like the first 2 spots are in pretty good shape with playing Humboldt and Trenton.Third place to 6th place could have any team winning on a given night.

That's about the score I expected, Chipper. We have 4 starters sitting on the bench injured, and another girl, who plays some, who has been sick since before Christmas....she cant seem to get over it.....

Who are the four greenfield starters out with injury? I only saw one player in street clothes, #23, and she came off the bench last time we played.

This seems to be a worse year than usual for injury in our district.

There is only one player out at the moment, that's Shay. Not sure on a return date. The past week they've had different ones miss time with mild concussion symptoms, kidney stones, and other various nagging bumps and bruises but never 4 out at once.
