Macon Co at Trousdale Co

Since you're professing to know all about TC, how about dropping the names of these people to ask about TT, and a bunch of his fellow teammates. Time to put up or shut up.

Easy to make claims with no proof or basis. Also against board rules.

Knock it off or take your triade elsewhere besides the T.

Tks,

Moderator.

Basically every kid out there that works his tail off and puts on alot of strength and muscle gets accosed of the steroid thing. I'm sure some kids do it,but I'd say 90 percent of the time its hogwash. Its a shame to tarnish a hark working kids name like that.

I actually think this game can be closer than most think if, and this is a big IF, but if Macon can set the edges on the defense and not get beat with sweeps by TC's skill position players, who are good, but if they can keep the plays inside, it gives TC less of a chance to outrun MC.

Might be a bit of a stretch, but I can see this being closer if this scenario plays out.

That's like giving me a football and asking me to knock a bottle off the top of your head from 30 yards away with only throw. I might get lucky but more than likely it ain't gonna happen...

Will RBS set the edges against TC later on this year? No. Will Trousdale rest their starters? Yes. Will the game be over before halftime? Yes

The same things may apply to Macon, but lets not act like anybody from RBS can be downing Macon, with that outstanding football tradition you guys have. You have been on Sports Center, so that is something you have both MC and TC beat at. icon_e_smile.gif

Will Macon lose by 35+ to TC? Yes! Will RBS lose by 35+ to Trousdale? Yes! Has anyone from Macon Co. ever downed or made fun of the RBS football program? Yes, who hasn't right! Are most of the wins that Macon does pick up on a yearly basis come against smaller schools? Yes!

I'm sorry but we can't drop down to pick up a win or two :)

ah,the advice of such a winning tradition program.your last statement shows your ignorance.macon only plays one small school.the other small school is a state continder every year.the rest are equal in numbers.with the exception of a private school-whom which none of the publics should be playing to start with.

Oh gosh don't try to tell that to the Macon County fans. They for some reason like to rag on RBS who does a lot more with the talent they have then Macon ever dreamt of doing with their talent

I agree with this. In years past, we have had more than enough talent to win more games, but coaching and effort have been problems for a long time. Not to mention meddling boosters and parents.

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
