RBS is certainly capable of beating Clay. I think that Clay's boys are hungrier for the win though, coming in at 0-4. Time will tell I suppose. There's one thing about it, Coach Shoulders has breathed life into that program. Having someone in charge that has energy and hasn't fallen into the losing mentality has helped their program.

Hopefully RBS can keep the emotions under control this year! If RBS can hold on to the ball I would say they come out on top this year...

Clay doesn't have any wins on their record so far, so hopefully that will motivate them to get their heads on straight for this game. I couldn't agree more with you, I hope they keep their cool to actually finish 4 quarters Friday night. Good luck to both Bulldog teams!!!

I just wish they could finish the game! I really think RBS could have beaten Watertown last week if they could have just held on to the ball in the second half. Like I said if RBS can play 4 quarters like they played last week in the first half I think they will win this game!

Tell ya'lls coaches to give each player 2 ounces of pickle juice at halftime...and fill the jockstraps with been-gay. That'll put some pep in there step. popcorneater.gif

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
