What the heck are you talking about? We have stacked the line all year and have been run on like I've never seen. Last week our D finally played a normal D set and we looked good. So please don't encourage our coaches to stack the line or it will be a very very very long night.

I agree that our D was way better last week but our problem before - amoung many - was that we "pass rushed" every play even when it made 0 sense. Every. Time. WTH. I think they were going for a loss in the back field but the result was by the time the 2ndary got into the back field, the ball was past the line making them try and play catch-up - and leaving nobody home. Stack the line, leave 3 deep and stay home. You won't get that 5-10 yd loss but you won't give up 20-30 yd gains with great freq. 3 and out works just fine for me,

Signal has faced a number of very good offensive teams this year, each with it's own style. They have matured a great deal over the past several weeks, and things are starting to gel. The guys seem to better understand their assignments, are making good reads, and are executing well. If we can shutdown a power offense like Polk, and I believe we will, then I like our chances headed into the playoffs.

I expect to finally see my Eagles breakout and play a complete game, offensively and defensively. GMFE!!!!icon_e_wink.gif

this qb can run, and is pretty quick . dont know about the passing

No doubt about that. Yer QB getting injured is unfortunate, but I don't think it changes much about this game. DD and CBP are predictable, if nothing else. Everbody knows what Polk is gonna try to do, and everbody knows what Signal is gonna try to do. The only question that remains is which team will execute the best offensively and defensively.

Y'all might just be suprised what our backup can do....its not like he has never set foot on the field ...he starts at corner rolls in at wing back and starts on all special teams and I'm not mistaken 4 TD punt returns...so he isn't going to be shaking in his boots like y'all think....I would go out on a limb and say he has the quickest feet polk has ever had... so I have total confidence that he will play well and polk will be even more preped and ready.

Just so you hosers know, Reaction is talking about the Boyd/South Pitt game. I wuz gonna go watch the Bucs beat the Pirates, but I gotta work that night.

I wouldn't miss this Polk/SM game for the world. Reaction ought to come up to the Mountain and watch my Eagles get some revenge on them Wildcats.

If it wasn't homecoming tonight I would come. Instead i'll watch us destroy Unaka.

Watched Polk play a few weeks ago, two things stood out, #35 running the ball and the speed of the punt returner, that young man can stop and go on a dime, really quick.
