Some of us are looking ahead to week 10, and beyond. But there are still two weeks left.

S. Central at D. Boone

S. South at Crockett

DB at TN High

Science Hill at Volunteer

It would be more fun to predict which game is closest and by how much IMO. I'll go with Boone by 40. The others will be more than that. It's easy to see why some of us are looking ahead. Some are looking ahead to next year.icon_rolleyes.gif

Indeed, just trying to maintain the tradition....

OK,once again the games lack.So big8 homers,I've got a question about your favorite teams players. What kids are getting looks from what schools. It doesn't have to an SEC school either.A free education or for the most free,is something that's worth talking about.I had an inlaw from Central {who I'd love to seen playing for the Tribe} do very well and is now playing at the next level. So, how your team and coaches are doing doesn't limit how far your better players can go.DB has several with atleast four getting looks from D1 from what I've heard, but several more have a great chance to keep playing.I know there are a bunch of good players all over the conference, but I've really not heard a lot about whats going on as for their next step.

Pretty sure Reed Hayes and O'ryen Scott are getting looks from Kentucky. Grant janeway is getting looks from Wofford and VMI. Will Adams is going to go to the next level at basketball.

I read on another site that Foreman had been offered by Kentucky. Maybe the d-b fans can chime in and let us know the truth. In my opinion he could easily turn into another Cobb.

I have only heard, but that doesn't make it truth about Foreman.I did talk to one family and GT is talking to that player, but he has another year and should get lots of offers.

I would think the Trevor Gilliam kid for you guys should get some serious consideration from the D1's?

Hasn't Reed Hayes already committed to play baseball at Tennessee?

I don't know what Reed Hayes has been offered at UT, but I know traditionally - there isn't much money handed out in college baseball.

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
