I might amend that after consideration to 6 out of 10 but still.

CAK hasn't really been stopped all season. Anyone that is going to beat them will need to out score them. Having Smith back should really make them alot better. I just think he along with the QB makes that team go.

Yes he was not there for our game but it wouldn't have mattered and ill tell you why. That game was an offensive track meet neither defense stopped each other more than twice i think. We picked off charlie one time i think but what im saying is we didnt stop cak through the air so another receiver even as good as he was wouldn't have impacted the game that much. I mean you might have scored faster but that would have just given us the ball back to drive down the field and chew up clock. We had 3 chances to take the lead and we blew it and now we are much more together and have minimized the mistakes. I hope this clears up what i meant i am in no way taking away from the talent at cak but i think we should have won that game.

Stopped reading after u say them not having a D1 guy at WR wouldnt have mattered..,,Bahahaha that's the dumbest thing anyone could say. D1 players don't come along often. It would've mattered. Don't fool yourself

Certainly you don't think I would miss CAK @ Alcoa....we are playing tonight (Thursday). Thats how I'm getting to go to SP.

Less than 2 hours.I just saw Tod Howell on the Alcoa field telling the weather. This is the game I have been waiting to see,I believe Alcoa will score every time they get the ball ,I also believe CAK will score .Both teams are great teams with great coaches.I think Alcoa will win. They both will be tested regardless of the winner.Good luck to both and I hope there are no injuries.

    • Well personally I see us going 9-1 so that isn't doom and gloom to me , Most people are thinking 6-4. Bearden will be the possible loss but hoping not. I was very impressed with what I saw this spring.
    • the kid you are speaking about, played in JV games,  2H half Science Hill game, split time in Hardin Valley and Bearden and that was it.   The upcoming Senior RB was All Region as a Junior and is regarded by the media as one of the top running backs in East TN for 2024 season. Scouting services have him as a top 10 back in the state.  Something aint adding up with gloom and doom. Maybe he was hurt and not at spring practice when you watched?
    • It won't be long now, he gone.
    • Are you kidding me?  You are just trolling now.  The new head coach's qualifications would be volunteer coach at the Oak Ridge Boys Club?  C'mon man, you can't be serious.  You're trolling us.  Anybody working at Clinton High School has to be like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs at this point.  They are coming after anybody and everybody that had knowledge of what was going on.  This is about to get real ugly.  Only in Clinton.
    • So no way they can compete with the likes of McCallie or Baylor still then
