When I saw them play, LA and Cannon, he ran Hackett into the ground....didn't take her out until her tongue was literally hanging out. No talent on the bench, and really none playing with her this year, considering they lost 4 seniors and he played no one else on the bench...just my point of view from games I watched. Stupidity.

No offense to RBS at all, as they are rebuilding from the very strong teams they had a few years back, but that is not that big of a win for UC to hang their hat on. Maybe Fair will be back in time for the tourney in Hickman Co around Christmas. Jackson Co has a VERY tough side of the bracket with drawing Waverly first game then most likely CPA if they win that. But they may meet at that tournament.

I got to watch the Hackett girl some last year, she was talented...the team was not! She is better off going 10 minutes down the road to Gordonsville to play basketball...

Totally agree. Watched Smith Co several times in past years and it is sad. She is a much better player than she is getting coached. At least Gville coach does understand the game.

How did y'all look Saturday, heard UC dominated in their match up without Fair. How did threat of the day pan out?

2 years ago RBS nearly all of their scoring that led them to the state tournament that year and is in a rebuilding mode. RBS basketball is always up and down, they'll have a couple of good years of being able to compete followed by a couple of bad ones. Though I picked RBS to win the district, it doesn't mean I think they'll be a state threat. As a matter of fact I think there's the possibility they could win the district and not make it past the first round of the region. The teams UC should worry about is Jackson County and Clarkrange....

Not hanging anything on that game just stating the facts, UC also dominated 3A Ravenwood and gave away a game at the buzzer to 3A Oakland. For UC to beat RBS like they did I assumed they had to be way down. They same can't be said for the other two teams. Again all this without Fair.

With all due respect neither Ravenwood nor Oakland makes anyone around here shiver with fear. While they may be 3A they aren't on the same level as some of the more elite programs in the area
