I work with Troy, so he's still around. I see Ryan George regular too. Both have kids. Both may be good RB's. Hopefully they go to Gordonsville.lol

FWIW, Terry Manning, who was a great RB for Gville in the 80's, is Troy Claiborne's uncle. Terry's son is the RB at Smith County.

 

Ryan's son is a student at Gordonsville and was crown bearer for homecoming, escorted by a beautiful little blonde, hopefully football is hin his future as he is the spitting handsome imagine of his dad!

your words have alot of merit, except one important part. I was right there on the two point conversion. Johnson's knee was down before his own momentum was stopped. He was indeed short of the goal..... at that point and then lunged forward after the whistle. He argued it because of how important it was but no one else was complaining. The game was decided however on a two point conversion, but it was watson, not johnson.

For the record, under the weight of the importance of the game, the refs really did a good job. I didnt see any calls that weren't justified, and the times they didnt call violations that were obvious, they were just letting them play. Give credit where credit is due. Btw, they got the onside kick call correct also.

Old Pirate has been laid up for a spell with some medical issues and had some time to watch some games but this statement is far from fractual............................figure it's hard to see clearly with eyes closed and a praying....LOPAO........."Congrats on the Championship GV" but the officials are terrible now-a-days!

 

BTW, does any GV players have any commitments?
