1A playoffs by computer rankings

Some are wanting strength of schedule to be a bigger part of the process, not necessarily just won-loss, either, as that can be deceiving. Here's how Class 1A could have started out according to the Sonny Moore ratings. I used only teams at .500 or better then the last three or four had losing records.

 

Quad 1 is the same, I believe. In Quad 2, Moore would go to third despite their 10-0 record. Quad 3, I have 3-7 McEwen out. I have 3-7 South Fulton in, instead.

 

In this, district champs and runner-ups would have no direct impact, and head-to-head also wouldn't mean much.

Smith beat em. Smith played one of their best games all season, and Gville played their worst. We were also without our starting LB, who would've made a difference. Either way, you have to be able to play.

It was also the first game of the season for Gville while Smith had a game under their belt.

Huntingdon is 82nd overall in the state, Gordonsville 83rd, after 10 games on his site. Knoxville Grace is 91.

i understand that everyone feels and the system is not perfect, i hate that you all kill yourself on could and would have...no matter what the playoffs when played out will determine the champion, grown man wins...the great thing about this sport is the best teams do not always win....clinic bowl will determine who the last man standing is...and they get the gold ball...everything else is just speculation

I been saying this all season. Gordonsville could win 1A or 2A. They would be a top 5 3A team.
