It is something they want until they can find an excuse for doing it. If everyone is so upset with Tommy Layne being elected tell one of your administrators to run, nobody seems to upset by it seeing how he was unopposed.

That's a big part of the problem with T$$AA. I think most principals don't give a crap, and BOC has to be principal or asst principal, who is 100% admin. Ought to be all AD's.

RMWR's OZ comment was directed at APB.

Layne said, "I represent a lot of schools, and I vote how the majority tells me to vote."

I am not saying Mr. Layne is not telling the truth, I am just saying.

I really think Signal will move to 6AA, they(TSSAA) will re-district and move them over, it will be said due to East Ham leaving, and travel time.......... But IMO be to better suit a school from Dunlap.

They might move us, but I doubt it. From a scheduling standpoint, if we stay with the current 6 class system, it makes sense to not change things unless you have to. The current 6AA and 7AA districts are listed below with class by new enrollment numbers. If these two districts get changed, the motivation will be obvious.

6AA

East Hamilton 5a

Hixson 4a

Tyner 3a

Red Bank 3a (?4a)

East Ridge 4a

Howard 3a

Chattanooga Central 4a

Brainerd 3a

7AA

Signal Mountain 4a

Notre Dame 3a (?4a)

Grundy County 3a

Bledsoe County 3a

Chattanooga Christian 3a

Sequatchie County 3a

From what I hear, we have picked up Red Bank and Soddy Daisy to replace South Pitt and Blackman on our non-district schedule. Those would both be good rivalries, competition, and gates.

I would not want to be the only 4A team in a district, if ND moves down.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
