I think us playing Giles would have been a better game than what EH will play.. Film will not prepare them for what they will encounter in the brickyard..

"It's" coming.

Giles will run away with it in the 3rd quarter. People just don't understand till they actually see this team play. Unbelievable.

Wishful thinking.

EH has seen them play. Several times actually. Film doesn't lie. Very believable.thumb[1].gif

Might you add we beat them in every aspect of the game.If we are over rated and we beat y'all that bad not saying much about your 9-3 record

Bob, That was 14 and 15 years old boys that racked up > 200 yds rushing in the first half. ND has a student body of 396 kids. 3 of our key 15 year olds were out with injuries. 6 days till basketball at overrated Giles

ND played hard and was well coached. But they did not get over 200 yards rushing in the first half. I mean they did but only when you count yardage that was brought back by penalties.

EH? Good team, but y'all will not be able to stop such a juggernaut as GC's offense. It will be a fairly close game until midway 3rd and then the cats will pull away. People don't realize something about GC, they have THE BEST championship coaching staff in the state that are battle tested, never panic, and never allow their teams to become complacent. This instills confidence in these young players and creates an attitude of invincibility. There is NO Tennessee team in this classification or really in any other that can match it. Are they unbeatable? No, of course not, but, it will take an extraordinary effort to beat them. Oh, and they have home field advantage until Cookeville. So dream on, until you get to the Brickyard and watch those dreams get smashed against the black and gold rocks.

Ya they definitely do not have the best coaching staff in the state

    • Who’s going to lead the pirates offense this year?
    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
