The fact that anyone can argue that Giles hasn't played anybody is laughable. I guess 7 opponents in the playoffs doesn't prove it. If Giles hasn't played anybody then East hasn't either. Honestly you guys ran the ball down pages throat. You won't do that to Giles. This may be the best defense Giles has played all year. Remember Giles is the best defense you guys have played all year as well. This will be a close game and I see going down to the wire for 3 quarters. Giles has less guys going both ways and will ware East down and pull away at the end.

By the end of the first quarter, the Hurricane faithful will be heading back over the hill reminescing over the season and looking forward to next year.

 

There has been so much mention of schedules, the only quality team you faced during the regular season was Oltewah and their win over you is the only quality win they had. They lost 3 in a row to better teams they play....just throwin that out there.

I watch every second of that game....... I still do not know how we lost. Your record is what it is...... You play who you play all these folks looking at stats, schedules, game tape, facebook ...... It does not matter. Right now in this moment in time it's up to both teams coaches getting them ready, and the kids playing the game. This Friday it's all them..... each and every kid out there will bust his butt for his school....... I do not expect that we will roll into Giles and bust yall up... nor do I think Giles will clean our clocks like the bottem of the district contenders. I have no idea who will win this game.... I do hope we do. Let me tell you what my research found Giles county has one heck of a coach he knows his football. They have a fan base second to none, they have a top notch stadium, and your guys play every play..... But I need to let you know something except for the stadium part so does East Ham........ This will be a all out war..... the team that wins makes the fewest mistakes...

      Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.

      I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.

      5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
