Early predictions for 8-AA 2013

Recommended Posts

TC did it for years, seemed to work for them. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Yeah im not saying its impossible because it obviously can work. It would just seem like those teams would be at a little disadvantage because their coach is worried about two teams besides just one.

Ha good question, pretty strange not hearing much from LA or SC.

I agree, however the road for the district still goes through LA and Smith! IMO, with Upperman Getting a lot of hype as they should having a unproved but large senior class. I feel DeKalb can go 6-4, 7-3 depending on how the ball bounces could go 5-5. Hopefully we can protect Jennings in the pocket and run the ball with authority! I look for boss and Milan to provide that powerful 1-2 punch and Warner and Patterson to pull in some passes. We will see....

No stranger than all the DC fans showing up after 1 good year.  ( that's not a bad thing though)

About as successful as they should have been considering the easy district they were in.

We played the schedule.....and I believe whooped a little Whineytown tail in the quarters in the last 10 years.... yelp........ easy

Alright guys, little quiet today. Put up or shut up time. Has big losses hurt DC,LA and York. Or can they fill the holes and be a contender.Does Upperman live up to all the hype? Can Macon make a splash in year one in the new district? Can Smith till be a power program under new staff? Will Cannon climb out of the cellar? Four more hours till questions start getting answered.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
