Lake County's 2013 Football Schedule

lcfalconfan, right now the falcons are working out around 38 players including incoming freshmen and have another 10 players currently with the basketball team. Team will be very young this year but there is some talent there. Spring practice begins May 1st and the Falcons have plans to scrimmage Dyersburg and Gleason.

glad to see West Carroll and Lake Co have renewed the rivalry, but dang i dont want to drive all the way there to get carried away by one of those vulture sized skeeters

Falcon update is the boys are pounding it out in the weightroom right now getting ready for spring. Spring practice will run from May 1st-16th with LC scrimmaging Gleason on the 16th. Should be a very interesting spring practice for a VERY young Falcon tean with alot of positions up for grabs. Could potentially see 5-6 Sophomores starting on both sides of the ball this year in LC. Focus now is on getting the young pups stronger and ready to compete in a very tough District 14-A.

No offense....but....that is a weak schedule. There are only 4 playoff wins from this past season on that schedule and that is by 2 teams (West Carroll and Peabody who will both be down next fall compared to this year). The only team on your schedule that will be better next year is Humboldt (and that is only if their new coach doesn't waste the talent). How many seniors are you guys losing this year? What positions have to be filled? If yall are going to be young next year then your schedule will help with that atleast.

 

I am not a Trenton fan..... but they will definitely not be down. They should be one of the favorites to go to Cookeville out of West TN in 2A this year.

Spring update, the falcons got 2 days in last week with small numbers( 19 players dressed for practice first 2 days) They have 8 players currently in baseball and 8 freshmen that cannot dress for spring. Had some attrition as some players quit, moved, dismissed in the last 2 weeks but Coach B was pleasd with the effort and attitude of the young falcons. Falcons continue spring drills th next 2 weeks ending with a Spring Scrimmage on May 16th @ Gleason.
