D-II Middle/East Region Matches

 

2 p.m. – McCallie vs. Father Ryan ... Baylor vs. MBA

 

3:30 p.m. or so – McCallie vs. MBA … Baylor vs. Father Ryan

 

This is the first round of matches to determine seeding for the D-II state duals

 

McCallie vs. Baylor and Father Ryan vs. MBA are later in the season.

 

This is the fifth year that this true round robin has occurred.

Anyone going to be able to provide updates on this?

 

Would have been great to keep a feed going from UTC but might be a bit much for a HS match given what is going on there.

Based on texts I was receiving it sounds like Father Ryan squeezed out a win over Baylor 30-27. Not sure of the full line-ups but I do believe Baylor was without Sutherland for the event and had Brunner at 138.

 

Nice to see that Baylor didn't give up any forfeits during the dual this go around.

Father Ryan did beat McCallie and Baylor today. Baylor beat MBA and I'm not sure who won between MBA and McCallie.

Murphy of Baylor and Chalifoux of Father Ryan had a great match at 106 with Murphy winning 3-1

Any chance we are going to see the FR / Baylor box score put out anywhere? It hasn't been on the NWCA site even though the FR / McCallie and the Baylor / MBA matches are.

 

Would definitely like to be sure of who wrestled which weights as part of the rankings.
