AP Poll Out of Touch..7A should be #1 & #2

On paper??? I disagree, 7A has to be the favorite. It doesn't happen year after year by accident.

Last time I checked Blackman and Oakland are nationally ranked this year also. Central Magnent is on the rise. Just a different level of girls basketball, especially in AAA.

 

Notice I said AAA wasn't a place where we competed. But with those three, plus Riverdale, that equals four really good teams. Central won't ever top any of those three though. Now, if we talk championships, which matters most, Riverdale has 3 and Murfreesboro High 1. Shelbyville is in a class of it's own, one that we aren't even talking about, with 12. Now, add the UC's. Clarkrange 8, Jackson 7, Pickett 5, Livingston 4, York, Cannon, White, Clay 1. If you started talking about runners-up an appearances, this post would be a lot longer. Again, no AAA in UC can touch AAA ANYWHERE else, but the gold doesn't lie.

Correct, as do the 7A/8AA teams.

Yes, they are in the same district. Just like Jackson County, Clay Co and Clarkrange at the Class A level. It actually becomes easier when you leave the district teams.

Here is the problem with polls.....this is an example-Mt Pleasant boys started #1 in first poll-4 days later beaten by Richland, poll comes out the drop to 5th and once again, 4 days later lose to a 5 win culleoka team and surprise surprise they are #5 again this week.......lets be real-I dont care who you beat, you dont jump from 7th to 3rd ahead of teams that didnt lose.....you keep talking about 7A and last years finals-summertown went 8 minutez shooting 0-23 and lost in ot by 1 point....it wasnt that they shut us down, we went cold at a bad time......and in wtching JC they are very beatable, trust me

Nobody has said JC is unbeatable. It's obvious in the fact that they are 18-3. Having said that, as someone that has been at all 21 games we have played this year, when JC is on their game, they are the best team in Class A.

I agree, Clarkrange has proven they can beat JC. I did say if they are on their game, which that night @ Clarkrange, they were not.

I love the playoff time of year more than Christmas. All the love and kindness to our fellow man. The respect of the other person's thoughts, feelings, and comments.

 

Looking forward to the next 6 or 7 weeks like i look forward to the Bass Pro Christmas Catalog...
