Byrd stats

Just wondering what the indivual stats are for the Byrd kid from Cloudland? I know they have to be impressive and I also know he missed a couple of games?

Maybe someone can find them, they will be impressive. I know Dacota Benfield has about 1200 yards. I would like to see the stats on the whole team. Alot of the credit goes to the guys upfront and our blocking backs. A heck of a group,all the way around. Contrary to what some people think,this is a total team effort.

I didn't know he was that close to the state record. Its really impressive considering: 1) he missed two? games.

2) Cloudland dosen't run a option type offense. I have seen the kid play a few times and the way I can best describe him is that he is not a sloppy runner, but a very controlled runner. What are the team stats for offense?

Thanks I just wanted some people to see some of his numbers. The most impressive part of the whole thing is that his 72 carries have come when we were in a ballgame and needed something.He never gets carries unless its early in a game or we need a play. I think our team numbers would be very impressive also.GO LANDERS

Wouldn't some of those yards be considered as him being lined up at running back. I was told that during the second half of the Cherokee game, they lined Byrd up as a running back.

 

Regardless, it's tough to prepare for a team that has a weapon at QB that is a threat to run and try and stop the Benfield boys too.

Only one Benfield,two Birchfields, one Barnett,a Sluder a humming Byrd. He really reminds me of a humming byrd, the way he starts and stops so quickly. He reminds me of Barry Sanders.

Ah...well whatever, you boys on Roan Mountain have a whale of a team. Probably in the top 5 regardless of class in Upper East TN.
