Sad day for Smith County

I still say you can do a lot worse than Pemberton, but do agree he bounces around to much. With UHS, they still have the old 1a mentality like their Clay Co, but numbers put them in 3a, and will be 4a soon. Putnam gives all the advantages to Cookeville high and Monterey and UHS gets the scraps. But I here UHS is getting big new Jr high, and doubling size of hs to take some students out of overcrowding Cookeville. Should eventually help them.

Unless you talked to a principal, vice principal or rodger dodger then they are just as clueless as anyone else. Rang resigning could be telling. Pemberton doesn't make sense. Where's his extra salary come from?

Good question...won't be MC money...that's for sure.

Berninger stepson is Miller, so I was not full of misinformation, huh. Just like when I said SC would be 1 and doone because Fairveiw had atheletes SC couldn't handle. I got belittled, but again, prediction was dead on. Also tried to tell the SC faithful they would be 3rd in district in 2012 because Dekalb and LA were stacked, but was laughed at. When will the SC folks realize they are anslightly above average program in a slightly below average district?

You were completely wrong about a "father son duo at DC." And about the coach leaving DC for UHS. The points about district last year were evident. SC saw it coming with the number of talent both schools had coming back.

It's hilarious how no one in Carthrage knows what s going on, but everyone else does. :flower:

Somebody mentioned Rang....you jumped on that coattail, then somebody mentioned Pemberton, you jumped on that coattail... Don't act like you know anything about ...well anything, Most coattail riders have to ride because they don't have any idea, but attempt to look like they do. I've done caught being wishy washy too many times,,,,although it was pretty easy.

So is it that much closer to Cannon to send kids across county lines than to bus them to a same county school in eagleville?

.

Initially proposed on logistics . Not the 1st coop arrangement with Rutherford co. and CC Soccer was prior to 08 I believe and currently students coop on Oakland swim team.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
