Are all of the schools in the county open zone now? Or is it only Alcoa and Murvil? Can a kid living in Sevier County be accepted at WB or Hairtage? I thought it was only the city schools. Has this recently changed?

i know two families who live in sevier co and attend HHS. dont know they would though. there is not a fee for some reason either. i know at MHS if you are ooz player (student) the cost is around $2500 per person per school year. at AHS its around $400. Thats alot of money to just try to win a championship

I had always thought the city schools were the only open zones-depending on 40 times. But i have now heard of some out of county kids attending both hairtage and wb. I was only curious if something had changed in the past couple of yrs.

I have heard that Maryville's tuition has been raised because of overcrowding? I may be wrong, but this is what i have heard. I'm sure some Reb fan will correct me if i am.

If you can pay tuiton to go to Alcoa or Maryville; what is the difference between them and privates like Ensworth and Brentwood Academy? Other than Mayville and Alcoa's football programs are better and richer in tradition and everyone technically pays tuition at Enswoth and BA.

 

I know Mt Juliet was hoping to get their shot at Maryville this past year for the championship. Hopefully in 2013.
