Was definitely seeing that home game, but still to play this good of a game without three players against this LA team goes to show how much heart these guys truly have.

Well the Howell did could not be avoided injuries happen, but the other things that happened could have been controlled

Down by as many as 22-23 points in the first half to leading by 10-12 late is impressive and a credit to LA by staying focused that its a 32 minute game. Kudos to Dekalb for competing this well short handed.

I honestly wonder if we would've came out and played this good if we weren't in this situation. It really seems like we came out with something to prove.

Final 71-57. Doesn't do the game justice. Wow is all I can say. I apologize as well for my doubt. They played a great game short handed or not. We play Howard. I'm confident if we can play with this intensity with a few players, or atleast Phillips back we will be ok.

This may work out well for 8AA. LA will host MC and get rid of that hostile environment, and DC will go to a less hostile environment.

I've heard Howard has a pretty big home court advantage as well. I'm just glad that DeKalb made a statement, win or lose. I feel much better about us competing in Chattanooga now. Congrats to both teams and good luck Monday!

Dekalb's hot hand in the beginning certainly kept them in it starting 25-7 after 1. Then LA settled in and took over outscoring DC 64-32 the last 3 qtrs.

I think they have had some gun issues with gangs in Chattanooga after games. Upperman & york fans said it was awful at Howard in sub-state. Hats off to Dekalb, showed tremendous heart that cant be discounted. Martin is the type of fearless leader that it takes to walk into a place like Howard & get the win!
