Imagine that! The one with the worst stats wins AA mr. basketball. It is based on this years #s I thought. 23pt 14 reb 6 ast I think is a little better than 20pt 8 reb & 3 ast.

Wow, I didn't realize how good Ramsey was but 23/14/6 & 38% from 3pt range is impressive! Not flashy but definetly Mr. Basketball in my book!

Wonder why they didn't give lyndsey next year's award too? Probably would save some money and gas for a couple of kids. But being nominated is a big achievement. I think they need to have one statewide tournament and one mr. Basketball award.

A note to all of you CPA haters ragging on Lindsey winning. If Ramsey had won, you would have read nothing but congratulations from CPA fans. Your hatred and lack of class, especially expressed to teenagers hurts no one but yourself. Think what you want about CPA, no one is going to change your mind, but rag on the school, coaches and fans, or the TSSAA, but not the kids. They work hard, play hard, accomplish a lot, and don't sit sit behind a computer keyboard spewing hate. Plus you paint a very poor picture of LA that is not indicative of a great program with a lot of good people.

Lindsey gets all the praise he needs. I know these basketball awards are just a popularity contest. Now if there was an award for the best college prospect then obviously lindsey would have my vote! But for two years in a role Ive seen Cole & Ramsey both with more impressive stats from successful teams get overlooked. If you looked on paper & had to choose than it would be different.

I think Jalen Lindsey deserved it by far. The eye test is what I use more than anything. Sometimes stats are a little misleading.

Yeah - go figure, CPA girls win 2 state tourneys, and same girl get MVP of the state tourney twice - and doesn't even get nominated........
