Then #1 Cannon Co. vs winner of Smith Co./York

Then winner of Livingston Academy/DeKalb Co. vs Murfreesboro Central Magnet/Upperman

 

Here is my predictions:

Livingston Academy over DeKalb Co.

Murfreesboro Central Magnet over Upperman

Smith Co. over York

 

Then in the Semi-Finals

Livingston Academy over Murfreesboro Central Magnet

Smith Co. over Cannon Co.

 

Then consolation game

Murfreesboro Central Magnet over Smith Co.

 

Then championship game

Livingston Academy over Cannon Co.

 

These games is going to be at Cookeville High School.

1-7 anyone can win this district. I thought Cannon would be the clear winner but it seems as though Smith County has their number so to speak. Some good basketball ahead!

I don't think Cannon will lose to Smith a third time...I'll say CC wins the tourney. I wouldn't be surprised if Central or LA wins it though. DeKalb also seems to match up well with LA. Could be a close game.

I was thinking how well we have been playing LA. If we pulled the upset do you think it would be bad for the district come region time?

Last time the lady tigers pulled an upset they still ended up in the region semis. I've seen several of the teams from 7-AA and they aren't very strong. DC beat the second place team, Notre Dame, handily.

Bledsoe has a decent team but I think DC is better.

 

Either way, LA is the focus right now. Chew getting hurt last night will be a blow to the Lady Tigers' depth, but I have faith.

I'm anxious to see what kind of game DeKalb gives LA tonight. I'm hoping for the Lady Tigers to pull the upset!

I'm picking LA to win the tournament this year and Cannon to come in 2nd. Should be a good game tonight though between LA and DC. Good luck to both teams !

It's so hard to believe Smith is the 4th seed. This district is tough.

I definitely feel like DC is a big underdog but not as big as they have been in the past. They could very well make a game of it.
