How did Craig pull this off? How did Cheatham just let Finley walk away? This makes the Indians vs Stewart County rivalry much more interesting. I am still not completely sure this has happened. I will be checking the Leaf Chronicle intently the next few days.

What direction will Cheatham County go now that Finley has left the Den?

Cheatham County has legislated itself into Stewart/Houston County East Campus. Terrible leadership beginning with the hiring of that slappy Tim Webb, followed closely by one of his cronies (who had been dismissed in Marshall County previous to his hooking up on the gravy train at Cheatham) Stan Curtis, has led to this.

 

The dismantleing of the athletic programs started prior to the hire of either of these jokes, with the threat of losing coaches and sports programs held over the county commissioners head, in order to secure more funding for the bloated Central Office at Cheatham County Schools. Over time, and 2 slapdicks later, even with incredibly hard work by parents and coaches, the burden has become to much to bear for veteran coaches like Finley.
