Mitchell VS CPA Who wins and why?

Mitchell is a great ball club and they are probably #2 or #2A team in the state behind CPA and possibly JSS... With that being said they will be put out early...

 

CPA too much height. talent, and coaching...

 

I have seen CPA play multiple times last year and this year and I have seen Mitchell play last year, even with the additions of Spencer and the Ridgeway kid they will not be enough to over through the Lions of CPA...

 

Mitchell... Watch out for that 1-2-2 3/4 press early... It is dangerous and if the refs allow the front guys to back slap at the ball once they are beat it will be a long day at the glass house...

You could be right but on coaching you are truly wrong. Ask anyone around here and Coach F. Phillips is one of the best around.

I'm not knocking Phillips... I agree he is a great coach and get the most out of his players while playing discplined basketball...

 

CPA just has the resources...

He is not the world but he is an awesome coach. What he does goes beyond X's and O's.

 

1. All of his players must sit in the first 2 rows of class

 

2. Twice per month they do a community service project, such as MIFA, The Food Bank, Reading to out neighborhood elementary school kids.

 

3.Twice per month team church attendance.

 

4. Makes the community a part of the program

 

5. All players must attend ACT training.

 

6. His players are the leaders in the school

 

7. BTW he does win games. Took a team last year with no D-1 players to the title game.
