What is the talent level like in Sevier County? I would think that Pigeon Forge would have a nice nucleus of kids who play.

Why did Pigeon Forge coach step down? What conference do they play in?

Shultz stepped down saying he wanted to teach and coach with less responsibilities. The real reason, according to people that know Shultz is that he is planning on going to Sevier Co. HS and reunite with his mentor, Ken Wright. Word is Wright is going to retire next year and Shultz will be there to take the job. Wright's assistant for about a decade resigned earlier this week right before Shultz resigned at P-F.

Is the Pigeon Forge job a good one? Can it be a good one? I know they pllay in the same district as Fulton, Austin East, and Carter. But is it a job with a high ceiling?

Cosby job has been vacant for more than a month. Wonder if Coach Marsh is interested in Pigeon Forge. It's closer to his home.

Its a questionable hire when the person at Pigeon Forge that was responsible for the interviews calls applicants and tells them he was sorry that he didn't have a say in the decision, and he was hoping that the person turned it down. I hate it for the well qualified applicants for this job.

You can thank our wonderful school superintendent Jack Parton for that move...The interviews that were held was all just a formality because they had to be done. Kucela was already hired while the interviews were going on....It sucks when your not GP and get handed what he wants to give you.

Coach Jessie of Seymour rumored to have stepped down to go to Gatlinburg-Pittman... Seymour announces hiring of Carter's coach on the same day that interviews were to start... Shultz of Pigeon Forge rumored to step down and move to Sevier County HS to take the helm when Coach Wright retires at the end of the year... and now Pigeon Forge being forced to hire a Coach they didn't want.... Life as normal in Sevier County????
