Then I and administrators at both Beech and KDDC stand corrected. I was told by them that the vast majority of KDDC kids go to SC.

I stand corrected on KDDC. It's closer to 60/40 SC, however hunter middle is the largest MS in the county. To me the benefit is really to those schools pulling from one school and one community. The support and the fact they all play together for more years (or the majority) has to help. Could be wrong but I would think that would help.

GWAVE...Totally agree......Hendersonville is the one of the top 3 teams in 9AAA this year ..Lebanon has improved and will be competitive but don't think they will upset commandos

Lebanon's first string is strong but no depth.  I was at the MJ game and they were toe-to-toe until the rotations started.  Haffner is a quality QB that will be strong as this squad develops.

i guess that's one way to look at it. I'd rather draw from two sets of starters than just one. Edited by tandem

I didn't say it was a good decision. If you know him; you know he is all about team. Some times young men face a lot of adversity and when they have worked so very hard and all of a sudden things go the other way; their emotions get the best of them. It is a hard life lesson to learn.

Send him east to FC, those other MJ transfers like their rings. He could even play multiple sports there.

Couldn't agree more.  Standing on the sideline with 120 players compared to 35 is a no brainer with D1 schools offering scholarships to both.  Don't know why in the depth chart anyone past #50 at MJHS stays on the squad.

I had a feeling that a FC booster would get on and post. 

If your son or daughter was good enough to make it on a public school team such as MJ then they could/would be able to play multiple sports.  Sometimes, despite what the kids expert parents have to say, they may not be good enough to make it on every team so they play the one or two they are good at. 

Congrats on your big win against Harding Acad. last week and good luck against the perennial powerhouse of King's Academy tonight.

I'm just heartbroken that I dont't get to see that annual classic between FC and RedBoiling Springs. I'm sure that in time the FC/MJ Christian game will become just as good.

      Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine.
