Collinwood scored 2-0 varsity. Jv gave up two scores against Cville starters but also scored a td.

Cwood blasted Gleason last night 37-12. Varsity played first half and won 16-6. JV played second half and won 21-6. Starters picked off three passes. Montgomery returned one 90 yards.Peyton Risner had a pick. Cwood offense looked very balanced. JV looked really good. Freshman qb looked great.

Congrats!  Good luck the next two weeks and then we meet on our third game of the season that just dont make sense to me that should be both teams last regular season games like it used to be! The way it is now seems to take alittle away from our rivalry!  Just my thoughts may not be any one else that feels this way but i would like to hear some opinions!

I agree. Its just weird. We'll get to see them both play before they have gotten into season form. Oh well. Takes a lot off the rivalry but it will still be a big game.

Its always a big game for both sides the timing just takes away from the end of season atmosphere!  Cant do anything about now but maybe down the road they will fix it!

Collinwood will go as far as Logan Montgomery can take them. How do Collinwood folks thinks he and this team compares to Jonathan Ward and the teams he was on?
